This top quality commercial grease trap/interceptor is essential for any business that is classified as a "trade waste producer". With new regulations in force, it is compulsory to fit a grease management system into any establishment that produces trade waste.

Grease traps/fat separators are specifically designed units that not only maintain the fluid and efficient working of your drains, but also prevent potential damage costs caused by everyday oil, fat and grease that is generated by businesses.

Designed as a compact, robust and easy to fit unit, the 18kg capacity grease trap has a 60 ltr per minute flow rate and is ideal for medium to large premises such as large cafes, high volume take always and restaurants with approx 100 - 150 covers.

These can be fitted inside or outside the kitchen but are generally designed to be fitted either pre-build or post-build inside a kitchen, close to the waste sink or dishwasher area. Once installed, the grease traps are exceptionally low maintenance and apart from removing the grease on a planned basis, they require no other maintenance work! No chemicals are required so there is no need to worry about spillage of harsh damaging chemical products found elsewhere.

Fitting a grease trap will also help ensure elimination of foul odours and help prevent any insect infestation or rodent problems. Suitable for a variety of catering establishments businesses and premises.

Delivery

It's our mission to get your order from our warehouse to your business on the date stated in your email confirmation. Please read on for all of our important delivery information.

Standard Delivery

Our standard delivery service is 2-3 working days, and includes kerbside delivery at your premises.

Your item will be delivered as close as possible to your premises and our delivery drivers will only unload your goods where it is safe and secure to do so.

 Free Next Working-Day Delivery

All orders over £100 excluding VAT qualify for our free next working day delivery service. If your order is under £100, a charge of £8.50 will apply.

Please note, NI is excluded from our free next working day delivery on orders over £100 ex VAT along with the following postcodes: HS, KW, IV, PH, PA, BT. For these areas, only our 2-3 working day delivery is available. Additionally, we are unable to offer next working day delivery to Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Isles and Isles of Scilly.

If your postcode falls under the following areas, your order will be delivered the next working day by noon or at the end of the business day: AB, DD, FK, KA, ML, SA, TA & EX.

Delivery Cut Off Times

To qualify for next day delivery, your order will need to be placed before 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. If you select next day delivery after 4.00pm on Thursday and before 4.00pm on Friday, your order will be delivered on Monday.

Order before 4.00pm on Friday for Saturday delivery services. Orders placed after 4.00pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday.
Orders must pass security checks and be paid in full before 4.30pm.
Standard deliveries take place Monday to Friday, usually between 8am and 6pm, but they can be as late as 9pm.

To qualify for next day delivery, your order must be paid for in full before the cut off point.

 Click & Collect

Our Click & Collect service is perfect for when you need a quick upgrade or replacement, and our help is always on hand. If you’re able to travel to our warehouse based in Seaham (SR7 9DR), we’re available to help with the same day collection of your new equipment during our usual working hours of Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

When a much loved part of your kitchen breaks down or you need a fast upgrade, our help is always on hand. If you’re willing to travel to our warehouse based in Seaham, we’re on hand to help with the same day collection of your new equipment.

Returns

We aim to make the returns process as simple as possible. You can create a return request through your Ecatering account and we'll arrange the collection of your items at a time and date convenient for you. We'll then deduct the carriage charge from your eventual refund. (This cost varies depending on the size and weight of your order.) Alternatively, you're welcome to arrange your own carriage service.

In order to receive a full refund, the product must be as new and in its orignal packaging.

  • New laws state that all new build catering establishments must have a grease trap / grease interceptor in place and soon all catering establishments must have one. Ours superb value for money ones are prEN1825 compliant, which is required under current European Standards and passes all local council standards.
  • Currently new restaurants must have a grease trap fitted or they will not be granted a Food & Beverage Licence. Very soon it is going to be a legal requirement that all waste producing establishments have a grease trap fitted, this is to also include existing sites.
  • The Building Regulations 2000 part H - Drainage & Waste Disposal (2002 edition) sets out rules for the management of grease:
  • 2.21 Drainage serving kitchens in commercial hot food premises should be fitted a grease separator complying with BS EN 1825-1:2004 and designed in accordance with BS EN 1825-2:2002 or other effective means of grease removal. All our grease traps comply with this regulation.
